Inspired by the timeless design of Chinese garden and courtyard architecture, CAMERICH has adopted “Interaction” as their theme to explore the dimensions and variations of modern home interiors. Within the 436-square-meter White Box, there are 10 partitions designed to serve 4 distinct functions. The main entrance features long windows that creatively frame the courtyard views, creating a seamless transition between the interior and exterior spaces. The circular motion path facilitates a smooth and effortless movement between the indoors and outdoors. The interplay of light and shadow, combined with the natural surroundings, provides a delightful experience with the environment. The “in and out” interaction and dialogue further enhances the overall ambiance of the space.
The courtyard complex features lush tree branches swaying gently in the breeze, creating a serene atmosphere. To add an innovative touch, the remarkable pavilion has a significant area dedicated to blank space, which conveys a sense of purity and tranquility. Meanwhile, the black brick flooring outside seems to capture a peaceful moment in time.
As visitors navigate through the space, their view opens up to the expansive courtyard. The versatile RUBIX sofa and the elegant tea accessories create a dynamic and engaging atmosphere, promoting a sense of dialogue and interaction across both time and space.
