A New Chapter for CAMERICH: Our Jiaxing Factory Is Complete

After five years of planning and construction, Phase One of the CAMERICH Jiaxing factory is now complete, marking an important new chapter for the brand.

The new factory will become CAMERICH’s main manufacturing center, bringing our furniture production operations together in one modern facility. It is an important step forward for the brand, but the project was never only about building a larger factory. From the beginning, the goal was to create a better place for both furniture making and the people behind it.

Designed for Better Furniture Production

The main building is approximately 277 meters long, 97 meters wide and 24 meters high. Its open interior and large structural spans allow production areas to be arranged more freely and adjusted as manufacturing needs change.

V-shaped columns support the upper structure while keeping the factory floor open and flexible. Loading areas, production zones and circulation routes have also been planned as part of one connected working environment.

These details help CAMERICH improve production efficiency while maintaining the level of consistency and craftsmanship expected from every piece of furniture we make.

A Factory Filled with Natural Light

Many factories are designed as closed spaces, with little connection to the outdoors. The Jiaxing factory takes a different approach.

Its glass exterior brings natural light into the building and makes the production process more visible and open. Balconies extend along the outside of the factory, giving employees places to take a break, talk with colleagues or simply spend a little time outdoors.

For CAMERICH founder Fu Haijun, this reflects the same idea that guides the brand’s furniture: thoughtful design should make everyday life better. The factory is not only a place where furniture is produced—it is also a place where people will spend an important part of their day.

Celebrating the People Who Built It

To mark the completion of Phase One, CAMERICH invited more than 300 builders and representatives from 16 project partners to gather at the Jiaxing campus.

Instead of holding a traditional opening ceremony, the event focused on the people who helped bring the project to life. Architects, engineers, construction teams and craftspeople came together to revisit the five-year building process and celebrate what they had created.

A commemorative book documented the project through interviews, construction photography and the names of more than 600 people who contributed to the factory. It was a simple but meaningful way to recognize the work that often happens behind the scenes.

Looking Ahead

The Jiaxing factory will work together with CAMERICH’s Beijing campus as the company continues to grow.

The Beijing campus will focus on design, product development and brand culture, while Jiaxing will serve as CAMERICH’s modern furniture manufacturing center. Together, the two locations will support the development and production of CAMERICH furniture for customers around the world.

The completion of Phase One marks the beginning of a new chapter. As the Jiaxing campus comes to life, it will become more than a production facility—it will be a place shaped by design, craftsmanship and the people who make CAMERICH possible.
